Week 27.2 Lelong ECFAIR 12th -14th August 2011 Mid valley
Recently, last Monday I just get to know that lelong.com is organizing an E-Commerce Fair. The fair is mainly for lelong store owner to have a booth in Mid Valley Exhibition Center on 12th – 14th August 2011. http://ecfair.lelong.com.my/2011/
Well, it’s too late for me to have a booth in the fair considering the time and manpower involved. I need to find 2-3 people to look after the booth, decoration etc. The most fearful thing is how to ensure that things didn’t get missing during the fair. In summary I’m not prepared. Thus, need to get a display box with lock. All in the expenses for 3x3m booth can easily goes up to RM5-6K. Maybe I will give it a try next year. If you do, must do a proper one, otherwise don’t do because it gives you a bad reputation. There are also 2mx2m booth available for lelong store member at RM900/- but it all taken up I guess. The booth balloting was done on 26th July 2011.
Nevertheless, I think I will take some time and attend the fair. Let see what people sells online. If they can spend their time and money for a booth certainly it is a viable business. It’s more to expand their business and to show people that they exist in the market place. By attending this fair, maybe you can learn from them on how to dispose your Precious Metal when the time comes.
The world is in bad shape again financially and the government is running out of bullet/options , not good.
ReplyDeleteI think precious metal bull will end in a peak in fear and panic, cannot expect orderly offloading / selling like in a shop ... unfortunately. The time for orderly selling is now and time is running short.
